What will they do next?
ReplyDeleteThis is what Pandikar Amin said, as reported in The Star today:
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/8/26/parliament
/22169935&sec=parliament
"I do not see any urgency for me to fix a quick date. For all you
know, the newly elected MP may want to go for a holiday first,
or even for an umrah before coming to the Dewan Rakyat," he
said yesterday.
This isn't a BN/UMNO candidate, what Umrah what holiday is it the same - a`uzhoo billah!
Like the late Dt. Mazlan visiting Umrah while soliciting the aid and giving thanks to deviants under the Devil's charm.
These vagrants in UMNO believe performing Umrah with other peoples money and loads of ill deed knowingly and deliberately conjured is the way all Muslims behave.
Well I have news for the Monafik; DSAI won fair and square therefore his first calling is to be present in the Dawan ASAP.
PKR responsibility is to the people which is meaningful and genuine change.
GOD will be pleased, trust me.
Go to hell! Zoo Keeper, Open the doors of the Dewan Encik Pandikar Amin and stop using phony excuses. You Shameless monafik.
Stop insulting our nation's intelligence and institutions. Let us urge our KING to step in now. Swear DSAI in at the His Majesty's Royal residence its enough.
YES!!! THANK YOU PERMATANG PAUH, WE WILL REMEMBER YOU FOREVER AND KEEP YOU IN OUR HISTORY BOOK...FOR A NEW MALAYSIA WITH NEW HOPE..
ReplyDeleteMay I tumpang sekaki and echo your thank you? Thank you the people of Permatang Pauh - for showing us the way forward.
ReplyDeleteWell, this result would never have come to pass (or would mean so much less) without the ceaseless work from the true heroes like Haris Ibrahim, RPK, zorro, Rocky and of course, yourself for a Just, Clean and Color-blind Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteAnd though you may never win a by-election, be sworn into parliament or get a portfolio, your contribution means all that much more to me, as unlike those in KeAdilan, PAS or DAP, you stand to gain little in return.
So, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You MIS.
PS: This victory shows that BN has ZERO credibility left in Malaysia. They pulled out ALL the stops - bribes (scrap metal licenses), racism (parliamen 'babi'), intimidation (FRU and SB helicopters), smears (Saifool) and their usual sychophantic media cohorts and they STILL lost and lost BIG.
Syabas Permatang Pauh.
A Sinking “Titanic” (BN) in Malaysia? (The show has just begun!)
ReplyDeleteMalaysia’s Titanic (BN) was deemed unsinkable when it was first launched. Even when it hit an iceberg on 8 March 2008, it was so hard to accept that the ship will sink. When all efforts to save the ship from sinking was finally abandoned, the Captain (DSAB) just stood silently awaiting the fate as a forlorn man. He was hoping the Carpentia or some other nearby ships will come in time to save the passengers. It was sad to see the Captain firing off some distress flares to alert the Carpentier, but the Carpentier’s Captain (DSNTR) was just not convinced that the Titanic was in distress.
In between is a love story of Leonardo DiCaprio (DSAI) and Kate Winslet (Azizah). Azizah refused to abandon her love, even though many a times, events show she should just save herself. She held on to hopes, hoping against hope that she and her love can pull thru and both will survive this tragedy. Both suffered mentally and emotionally and in the end, it was Azizah left to tell the tale of a great man who sacrificed himself to save her.
As for the crew of the Titanic (Little Napoleons) and their friends who are rich and powerful corporate figures, who helped run the ship, did you see the desperation when they found out that the ship is really sinking. Most of them scramble to save their lives and abandon ship and some, with loads of money found they can’t buy anything they wanted, even a place on a lifeboat to save their lives (TDM migration). But not all, for there was a few brave Napoleons who tried to show they are committed to the name of Titanic (BN) and the show continues.
There was an old couple who just lay in bed waiting for the ship to sink (MIC & PPP) abandoned by the young and too old to move around anymore. There were also musicians still playing the ship’s songs (MCA, PBB, LDP, PBRS, PRS, SAPP, SPDP, SUPP, UPKO) and died like true musicians dedicated to their role of love for music. There were also some crew (GERAKAN) still working to plug the leaks at the bottom of the ship until they themselves died thinking they were heroes not knowing the ship cannot be saved just by plugging some holes.
Do you know who was the director of Titanic (BN) show? James Cameron (TDM).
Did you know this show was shown around the world?
Did you know Malaysia has some of the best actors and actresses and supporting casts?
Anyway, it was just a movie, for the real show has only just begun!

Waking this morning was not like any other days. The feelings of 8th March came back somehow. The true feeling of a new M'sia with mono party calling the shots and urging their supporters to bulldoze their way around are
ReplyDeletenumbered.
As you have mentioned, this win in PP is not only for Anwar but M'sians in reality. To show the peoples in power that M'sians are ready to try out an alternative govt with new policies that enriches the people without any colour shades as long as they deserve it. That was actually the noble ideas from the original NEP but the elites caught it and turn it into their 'grandfather's' policies where there enrich themselves and their cronies leaving the poor and needy to be worse off than ever.
Thank you, MIS as in your endeavour
you have lighten up many lamps that was flickering. You quest to see a M'sia that is fair to all has rekindle our hope that there are many true 'anak malaysia' or rather bangsa malaysia all around us IF only we choose to understand them and have more faith in our belief that only truths can set us free from the political culture of lies and more lies. I salute you sir !
Permatang Pauh gave Malaysia a break !!
ReplyDeleteThe rakyats' new found confidence will be able to battle BN's money & machinery.
We will no longer cow in fear, enough is enough.
Suddenly, they sky has brighten for our children for a better tomorrow.
We must ride on this momentum and surge towards re-building a better & just Malaysia for all.
Thank you to all who make it happen.
God bless ..
Dear Malik Imtiaz,
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear your revitalised zest for our "Malaysian Dream".
With our nation’s Historic “Ground Zero” established by DSAI, Pakatan Rayaat & the Permatang Pauh voters, let us keep our “Focus” on our journey to that “Dream” Destination.
Just ponder on this :
Let us ALL be “Magnanimous in Victory” & not forget that “PERSON” that made it all possible, will be etched in the History of this great nation…..
“Malaysia for ALL Malaysians” (Anak Bangsa Malaysia) where EVERY citizen can “Dream” of, be “GIVEN” the “OPPORTUNITY” to “WORK” hard “TOWARDS IT”, to “ACHIEVE” the “MALAYSIAN DREAM”.
Our Malaysian Heroine of the 21st century - Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Ismail, the first woman “Leader of the Opposition” in the Malaysian Parliament….”Graciously” resigned as the MP for Permatang Pauh to pave the way for this “New Dawn”.
She had sustained the “PKR Fortress” during its “Sad” years , later together with her daughter YB Nurul Izzah managed to elevate it to its present status, achieved the status of being nominated & presided as the first woman “Leader of the Opposition” in the Malaysian Parliament…..
Against all odds, with the Humiliation, Intimidation, Harrassment, Punishment, etc meted to her, her husband DSAI & her family by the “Powers-that-be”…..
My heartiest Congratulations, Gratitude & Tribute to our Nation’s Heroine of the 21st century - Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Ismail.
MIS,
ReplyDeleteEveryone should also know that the victory at P.Pauh was not a victory for DSAI but a victory for the people. DSAI was not the hero, the people of P.Pauh were the real heroes. Najib, remember, pride goes before a fall. Also remember that pride is like an oak tree…it can stand high for hundreds of years, but it can be cut down in just 5 minutes. Stop treating the people like idiots anymore!
cheers.
Yes, thank you Permatang Pauh. And THANK YOU too MIS, for going the extra mile for all of us Malaysians.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you and your loved ones.
yes..yes .thanks a million to the good people of PP ..not forgetting all those kind soul doing all the fair and honest campaign ..to put forward DSAI to the Parliment..
ReplyDeleteThanks to you for all your stand on Bangsa Malaysia.
"Fooled!"
ReplyDeleteOn 25 August, the Deputy Home Minister was quoted to have said this in Parliament:
"I hope voters in Permatang Pauh will not be fooled by Anwar Ibrahim’s campaign," said Chor, the Barisan MP for Alor Star. Balloting for the by-election begins tomorrow, Aug 26.
Well, it certainly looks like the voters in Permatang Pauh have been "fooled". The MCA voters in Permatang Pauh have been "fooled". In fact, the whole country have been "fooled". We have all been "fooled" by DSAI that he can bring about real change to the nation, for that is why the people of Permatang Pauh voted the way they did.
Therefore we, the members of the seven MCA branches in PJ Utara, call on our leaders to take MCA out of BN NOW for the people of Permatang Pauh have shown to us that they would rather be "fooled" by DSAI than to remain as parrots and puppets in the BN coalition.

Thank you PP!!!
ReplyDeletecan't wait for a new leadership that clearly wants a united country for all Malaysians.
DSAI - we want independent judiciary and ACA.IPCMC as well. Please deliver and do not do a Badawi. if not,out you go next GE.
MIS,
ReplyDeleteMarch 08, 2008 was to be the dawn of a new era. The Rakyat has spoken. Loudly and leaving little to doubt. Never in our wildest dreams did we envision that five states would be under opposition rule. Yet, the Rakyat has also decided that the Federal Government remained with the ruling BN.
We then saw these states government formed, with some hiccups but we see a real desire to make a change, and to respect the voice of the people. Then, somehow things began to take a detour. The unexpected and newly gained mandate began to take root, and then the desire for more power began.
Today we hear nothing but a man and his plans to get to Putrajaya. It did not matter that the Rakyat has spoken almost 6 months ago. The people had decided that they wanted a strong and meaningful opposition, five state governments were given to the Pakatan. However, the people had also decided that Pakatan Rakyat are not to be the Federal government. Did anyone hear that voice?
Instead of concentrating on governing these five states to be everything that we have been promised in the election manifesto, we now have a leader who is simply hell-bent of getting his way to Putrajaya. It did not matter to him that the people in Sabah and Sarawak had voted for the BN. To encourage hopping is basically to subvert the voice of the people. How can we preach Ketuanan Rakyat when the clear voice of the people is not respected?
Even if no monetary rewards is offered (and I am highly skeptical here), we are still trying to scheme and change the outcome of the March 8 election. Why don’t we see this? Justice works both ways, if the people’s voice can be blatantly ignored today, by the Pakatan, this will certainly not be the last time. Rule justly and transparently in the five states, and there will come a time when the Pakatan will be entrusted with the Federal Government.
The euphoria that I had felt since March 8 has been dissipating as I read daily the threat created by this one man, to fulfill his personal ambition. The economy of the world is seeing challenging times ahead, and we are mired in these political uncertainties because we refused to recognize that the election was over 6 months ago. What next after they get together 30 party hoppers? A razor thin majority and the cycle shall continue again. What are we going through this if not for the impatience of one man who refused to wait for another five years?
MIS, I am sad not to share your enthusiasm and optimism over Permatang Pauh. I wish for once, the people’s voice will truly be honoured and respected.
Lyn
Thank you would be too simple expression for the steely determination showed by our brother and sisters from PP. Hope is what you have given us. Hope one day that we can help and care for each other as one people irrespective of race religion and creed. I shed tears to Almighty God for giving you the courage that has given us this wonderful "Hope".
ReplyDeletea new dawn for Malaysia.
ReplyDeletea new hope for Malaysian Dream.
Thank You Permatang Pauh P44.
